MortgageFlex Hires New CIO

 

Jacksonville, Fla. (02/05/08) - MortgageFlex Systems, Inc., a leading mortgage technology innovator, has announced that Bill Black has joined the company as Chief Information Officer (CIO). He will be responsible for data center management, technical support and facility support.

         

Black has an expansive career in technical support roles in the mortgage industry. Black’s career encompasses positions at national lending institutions, consulting firms and Application Service Providers.

 

Prior to MortgageFlex, Black was a Managing Partner with DocFly, LLC, in Atlanta, GA. DocFly is a consultative practice that specializes in technology related services focused on the mortgage banking industry.   His career includes tenure with an international Application Service Provider that supports North American and European clients.

 

As the managing partner responsible for sale and contractual obligation of the engagements, Black was responsible for overseeing client site initiative resources, including:

 

·         Integration of various mortgage industry systems into service oriented architectures.

·         Data center design, architecture, management and securitization.

·         OTS, Sarbanes/Oxley, SAS 70 compliance audits and reviews.
