One of Nation’s
Oldest and Largest CUs Connects Agile
Technology to Growing
Customer Needs
Santa Ana, Calif. (August 7,2008)
- Orange County’s Credit Union, one of the nation’s oldest and largest, has selected
the MortgageFlex LoanQuest Residential Lending System for all mortgage
originations in their 83,000-member network.
Jeff Harper, Vice President of Lending,
LoanQuest supports all aspects of the retail mortgage
process with numerous system functions that allow lenders to automate or
eliminate manual steps. An incorporated dynamic product and pricing engine,
embedded interfaces to risk mitigation services and full business rule
capabilities guarantee the most current product information is available real
time to all users.
Business rules having common application to more than one
channel can be used by other business units where applicable, reducing system
overhead and downstream maintenance. They provide a window into the logic of an
application, allowing organizations to adapt quickly to changing market
conditions. A business rules engine also provides a built-in audit trail of decisions for reporting
purposes. By utilizing a combination of business rules and workflow, lenders
are able to build rules that are unique to the organization and drive
compliance via workflow.
“Starting with a fully functioning system dramatically
reduces a lender’s start up time,” said Craig Bechtle, chief operating officer,
MortgageFlex Systems. “LoanQuest’s functionality has been honed by our
customers real life usage to reflect time-effective, best practices and most
new customers discover those advantages immediately.”
