MortgageFlex Delivers UAD 3.6 Ahead of the Industry Mandate
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LoanQuest helps lenders prepare for the appraisal industry’s transition to the redesigned URAR and UAD 3.6
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., October 12, 2026 – MortgageFlex Systems today announced the completion and availability of UAD 3.6 and UCDP enhancements for its LoanQuest loan origination platform, giving lenders a production-ready path to the redesigned Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR) and Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) 3.6 requirements.
The release supports appraisal ordering and processing through the new UAD 3.6 framework, along with an updated UCDP workflow for submitting appraisal packages to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Client implementation and testing are now underway ahead of the November 2, 2026 mandate for new appraisal reports submitted to UCDP.
“UAD 3.6 represents far more than a new appraisal form. It is a transformation of appraisal data itself,” said Lester Dominick, President of MortgageFlex Systems. “Lenders are facing new requirements, new workflows, and new expectations. We made a deliberate decision to complete our solution ahead of the mandate so our clients can focus on operational readiness rather than technology readiness.”
LoanQuest supports the redesigned appraisal workflow while preserving the lender’s established processes for property and collateral data. Returned appraisal documents, including the appraisal image, are incorporated into the LoanQuest Processing Center, while the UCDP enhancement supports the submission and response workflow with the government-sponsored enterprises.
Key capabilities
- Support for the redesigned Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR)
- UAD 3.6 appraisal ordering through the LoanQuest appraisal interface
- Validation and visibility into returned appraisal responses and error messages
- UCDP 3.6 submission workflow for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
- Support for appraisal updates, completion reports, revised files, and multiple appraisal sequences
- Implementation designed to preserve existing lender workflows and minimize disruption
The redesigned UAD creates a dynamic, data-driven appraisal reporting structure aligned with the MISMO Reference Model 3.6. For lenders, readiness requires coordination across technology, appraisal providers, internal workflows, training, and testing.
“Completing development now gives our clients valuable time to test, train, implement, and adopt the new workflow before the industry-wide transition becomes mandatory,” Dominick said. “Our goal is simple: deliver the technology our clients need before they need it.”
MortgageFlex clients can begin implementation and testing immediately.
